Communal Areas

At Acorn Lodge we have a great selection of communal areas. Here’s a little bit of information about what each provides.

Main TV Lounge

An area that has a seating for 15, with comfortable armchairs. With a view to the gardens and the downs. 55 inch TV, CD & DVD player fitted with a cosy fireplace.

Purple Lounge

This is a room with a great view of our beautiful garden. Seating 12, comfortable armchairs, a large 55" TV, CD & DVD player. Includes a 6 seat Dining area. Reminiscence Corner with a selection of vintage items.

Sensory Room

This room has seating for up to 10 residence for therapeutic activity, sensory lights & mirror. This dual purpose room is also used as a sitting area filled with comfortable armchairs.

The Garden

The garden at Acorn Lodge is a beautiful and serene space where residents can relax, enjoy the fresh air, and connect with nature. The garden is well-maintained and features a variety of plants and flowers, as well as a fountain and a patio.

Dining at Acorn Lodge

Dining at Acorn Lodge home is a pleasurable experience for residents. The dining room is bright and airy, and the tables are set with tablecloths and flowers. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to help residents with their meals.

The menu at Acorn Lodge is varied and nutritious. There are always several options to choose from, including meat, fish, vegetarian, and vegan dishes. The meals are prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Residents have the option of eating their meals in the dining room or their rooms. If a resident is unable to come to the dining room, the staff will deliver their meal to their room.

Acorn Lodge is committed to providing residents with a positive dining experience. The staff understands that mealtime is an important part of the day, and they are dedicated to making sure that residents enjoy their meals.
